Heasley joined Anglo American as finance director after Stephen Pearce retired, moving from engineering group Weir, where he had been chief financial officer; the appointment was announced in July 2023. He sits on Anglo's executive team and has been named chief financial officer of the combined Anglo Teck, where he will also serve as an executive director.
