Dall became Gold Fields' permanent chief financial officer and an executive director on 1 March 2025, having acted as interim CFO from April 2024. A UCT-educated chartered accountant who trained at KPMG, he joined Gold Fields in 2014 and was promoted to vice-president of corporate finance, responsible for group funding, in 2022.
