The Government of Botswana and Anglo American have reached an amended partnership agreement on Debswana, increasing Botswana equity and diamond allocation in a deal valued at approximately $2.9 billion over the life of mine.
New NEMA regulations impose stricter effluent discharge limits for PGM processing operations, requiring Bushveld Complex smelters to achieve compliance within 24 months.
